Hurtling forward.
Running to the point where your feet pump wildly to just keep up with the forward momentum of your body. If you miss a step, you’ll go crashing down.
Down and down and then what?
Pick yourself back up, start to walk, then jog, then before you know it you’re hurtling again. That same out of control motion of running. Legs churning, lungs burning from exertion.
Everything is out of control.
It is a vicious cycle and all I want to do is get away. All I want to do is slow down.
How do you slow life?
