you promised strength.

you promised perfection.

you promised acceptance.

you promised control.

in reality,

you made me a shadow of myself.

you were never satisfied.

you destroyed relationships.

and control? you ran the show. i sacrificed so much at your demand.

lies.

i wish that leaving you was as simple as deleting your number, blocking your messages, severing our facebook friendship. but your voice still whispers persuasive words in my ear.

but i met Another. and you know what? He's the one who made the sacrifice. and He keeps His promises.

so you? just watch it. your days are numbered.
