Fear

Yes, weep and fall before me.
Your tearstained faces are stained for naught. Pull your children to your side, drop them to the ground. Let the mud soak through threaded knees.

"My dear people-“

Foolish souls, I care not for your gold or livestock, nor your grand houses, your paltry stables.
I care not for your women for my chambers, nor your men for my fields.

"You see my army, but, beloveds-“

I only come to destroy all life and raze your buildings to the ground. I will destroy your name so not even the wind whispers it.

"Fear not."
