He is not silent
He speaks.
But his voice is not like ours. Ours is just an echo of his.
Just as a statue is a mere depiction of something alive, so
our voices are only a mirror of what his is like.
His voice is louder, sweeter, more melodious.
His voice is living and active.
His voice is sharper than a double-edged sword.
His voice was before time began.
He shouts, he cheers, he sings, he whispers. Or at least
that is how we categorize it.
But can you really describe the sound of the living,
breathing, speaking God?
Someday we'll get to hear it. I can't wait.
