The small child’s eyes sparkled like a sapphire, a newly polished sapphire. They were the color of the deepest and darkest depths of the oceans, of a bright blue sky on a cloudless day. In those blue eyes were the looks of desperation, puppy-dog eyes, some call them. How could I refuse those blue eyes, those blue eyes that were framed by the blonde hair that surrounded her face?
I just couldn't bring myself to doing it.
“Alright put the sour patch kids in the cart…” I trailed off.
Those irresistible blue eyes…how could I ever turn them down?
Haha. So super serious at the beginning and then so not. Love it. :)
