You brought me up in your palace ever since you orphaned
me. And in turn I’ve feigned gratitude,
loyalty, and utmost obedience.
It sickens me.
But even as a child I knew I needed more power to crush
you. Do you remember how you defeated my
people? You knew you couldn’t pierce our
armor or break our swords. So you
stabbed us in the back; you used trust as your weapon. So I’ve bided my time, gaining your trust
little by little, waiting to use it against you. You’ve taught me well, my master. I promise to repay you tenfold.
love.
