double drabble (for May 10 & 11)

it all started with the spilled coffee on my homework.
and then the milk on my cereal was sour.
my shower was cold.
i stubbed my toe on the corner of the bed. ("aww, $!*&")
and my dog peed in my room. a big, huge, yellow puddle smack dab in the middle of my room.
the sharpie slipped out of my hands and drew some comical character on my shirt that mocked me for taking off the cap in the first place.
then i tripped over the top stair,
slammed my finger in the door,
got a papercut on the same finger
and managed to scrape my knee and elbow by falling off my ripstik.

im kidding, kidding.

the coffee enjoyed relaxing in the mug instead of on my homework.
the milk was sweeter than usual, my shower was steamy, the corner of my bed stayed out of my way, my dog peed where she was supposed to(“YES! YES! GOOD JOB! THAT’S HOW YOU PEE RIGHT LEXI!”)
the sharpie preferred its home on my paper instead of my shirt.
the top stair reminded me of it's existense, and the door was polite.
but i did scrape my knee after falling off the ripstik.
my day was pretty swell.
