One knife can slay a tyrant,
One deed can mark the brave,
One moment can define a man
Or can make a man its slave.
A leather jerkin for armor,
A knife becomes his sword,
A knit hat becomes his helmet,
A threat his finial word.
No battles need be fought for him,
He fights his own mêlée,
He knows the right moment to strike,
Braver than all is he.
One knife can slay a tyrant,
One deed can mark the brave,
One moment can define a man,
Or make a man its slave.
Really love those two lines "one moment can define a man/Or make a man its slave" - so true and so well put.
