Disembodied Voice, May 15th, 2012

The whispers started again. She thought they had stopped and for the past couple of years they had, but they were back and from what they were saying, they weren’t happy.
She lay sprawled on her bed, staring at the ceiling. “Leave me alone,” she whispered.
“No.” A simple answer but it filled her with dread.
“What do you want?” She was barely able to contain herself, and she considered going down the hall to get her parents.
“Don’t do that. They’ll just send you back.”
She began to sob, paralyzed.
“Why me?”
The voices laughed. “You are mine,” it hissed.
