On a Shuttle to Nowheresville (5.12.2012)

“Arriving at NoWheresVille in 5 minutes!”
I look out the window, my head bouncing against the window as we go through a particularly bad patch of wind.
The trees whipped past at an incredible rate. I was excited to go home to Nowhere. But, at the same time … I dreaded it. I didn’t have a true reason. I couldn’t shake it.
Stepping off the train, I look around. Inhale the scent of home. With a screaming of wheels on metal the train sped away.
I look around, it’s empty.
No one lives in Nowheresville.
Empty wind screams through empty houses.
