“Just kiss me already.”
After a pause, he leaned forward and gently kissed her,
inhaling her scent. She wrapped her arms around him and pushed her body into
his. He turned his head away.
“Are
you alright?” He asked.
“Just
shut up.” She replied.
“This
isn’t how I want things to be.”
She looked at him, lip quivering, and her eyes glazed over.
Her body racked with sobs as she slumped to sand. He fell to his knees and he
held her as she cried.
“I love
you so much.”
They stayed there until the sun dipped below the horizon.
Huh... this is interesting... I like how it's in the middle of something rather important going on....
