The Beginning Part 2, May 4 (Took me awhile to publish it)

The snow around his feet was white and crusty. He began to dig. As he dug, he uncovered a boot, then a glove. Deeper and deeper he dug. A boot, quickly followed by a torn glove were uncovered. He knelt there in the hole. The object before him was the remnants of a body, but barely. An arm was missing, as was a foot. He reached with a trembling hand pulled a wallet from the back pocket and put it in the bag he had recovered. He heard a noise and looked up into a snarling face. “God,” he whispered.
